Kendrick Lamar conduce lista nominalizărilor la Premiile Grammy 2026 cu nouă selecţii, conform listei publicate vineri de Record Academy.
Kendrick Lamar, al cărui single „Not Like Us” a triumfat în două dintre cele trei categorii principale la premiile Grammy din 2025, le oferă votanţilor şi mai multe ocazii de a-l recompensa în acest an, cu continuarea unui album de succes („GNX”) şi a unui single („Luther”), care sunt gata să-i ofere superstarului hip-hop şi mai multe premii la ediţia din 2026.
Lady Gaga a primit şapte nominalizări, depăşind recordul anterior de şase, obţinut în 2010.
În fiecare an, există cel puţin un artist în ascensiune care obţine un număr de nominalizări mult mai mare decât se prevăzuse, iar anul acesta acel artist este Leon Thomas. El a obţinut şase nominalizări surprinzătoare, ceea ce îl plasează la egalitate cu Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny şi inginerul de sunet şi mixerul româno-canadian Şerban Ghenea.
